POSITION VACANCY

 

 

POSITION TITLE:                Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Services

 

REPORTS TO:                       Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations

 

DEPARTMENT:                    Intercollegiate Athletics

 

CATEGORY:                         Full-time, Exempt

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Assistant AD for Ticket Services reports to the Senior Associate AD for External Operations and is directly responsible for all activities of the Ticket Services department, including 3 full-time staff, paid interns and Gameday staff.  This individual is responsible for all ticket activities including, but not limited to, season ticket and single game sales, seat adjustments, Gameday operations, financial and accounting controls for Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse, Men's Soccer and Baseball.  The successful candidate will have a visible role in the athletics program, working as a member of the External Operations team to lead ICA in all areas of ticketing, marketing, development, media relations, and new technologies.  Specific responsibilities include: Oversight of all ticketing for Football, seat adjustment policies and procedures, primary liaison to Terrapin Club (annual fund), and implementation of unit-wide customer service initiative (Terpness!).  This position involves occasional out-of-state travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree required.  Minimally seven years of direct ticketing experience, with a proven record of achievement.  Candidate must be a proven leader with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.  Extensive experience in Paciolan is required.  Experience with Access Management, Digital Ticketing and other ticketing platforms, including the secondary ticket market is strongly preferred. Basic computer literacy is required, with experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

 

SALARY:  Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
